    Hi, I'm naeemah!

    Pronounced Ny-ee-ma | she/her

DC-born and raised, I am one of few native Washingtonians who remain in the area. I believe we are all born with everything we need to be as happy, healthy, and productive as we choose. My goal is to help others recognize and tap into this often overlooked internal resource in order to inspire each other to live the life we've always wanted.

I am inspired by the power of community and try to do my part in various service capacities with the following community organizations: Mocha Moms, the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland, Black Mental Wellness, and the Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County.

  • A former licensed counselor, I now focus on a more macro approach by using my clinical expertise to educate the community about their role in the healing process. I'm so inspired by the compassion of everyday community members making a difference in the lives of others. As such, my work involves helping organizations maximize their capacity to heal children, families and communities..
