Hi there! I'm a multi-passionate life enthusiast that facilitates ways for individuals, communities, and organizations to meet the needs of our most vulnerable yet resilient segments of society: women and children.
A real life super hero, by day I work on behalf of non-profit, private sector and government clients to train staff on issues that affect children and families such as mental health and child maltreatment.
Similarly, by night, I engage with women both online and in-person to share stories, strategies and resources for living an inspired life.
“The true measure of any society can be found in how it treats its most vulnerable members” ― Gandhi

DC born and bred, I am one of few native Washingtonians that remain in the area, I was raised in a loving home full of women and am blessed to have had an amazing childhood that exposed me to my unlimited potential. In college I discovered my passion for children and families. It is quite the experience to discover the world through the lens of a child. This coupled with the belief that family is everything to a child is what continues to drive that passion nearly 20 years later.
A former licensed counselor, I now focus on a more macro approach to healing and have been inspired by the compassion of everyday community members making a difference in the lives of others.
I believe that we are all born with everything we need in order to be as happy, healthy and productive as we choose. My goal is to help others recognize and tap into this often overlooked internal resource in order to inspire each other to live the life we've always wanted.

Said no teen ever.
Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-17) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.
Stewards of Children® Training
Child sexual abuse is likely the most prevalent health problem children face, with the most serious array of consequences. In fact, 1 in 10 children will experience sexual abuse before their 18th birthday.
This means that whether you work with youth, are a parent, or are simply a member of a community, it is highly likely that someone you know or care for has experienced, or is currently experiencing, child sexual abuse. It’s going to happen whether you are prepared to deal with it or not – unless you stop it from happening. And the good news, it can be stopped. Interested in taking or scheduling the training?
